Play and Mod Pokemon on your iDevice...:) gaming zone

PART 1 - Installing Pokémon

Instructions:

1. First and foremost, make sure your iDevice is jailbroken.
2. Go to Cydia and download "gpSPhone" version 8 by ZodTTD.
Note: You have to download it from his beta repo at http://cydiabetas.zodttd.com/
4. A Gameboy Advance icon should appear on your homepage. If not, remove and re-install.
5. Now that you have the emulator, you need some Pokémon ROMs. You can search Cydia Pokémon ROMs.
6. Download the ROMs you want.
Note: You DO NOT need gba bios for the beta version of gpSPhone.

GBA4iOS Alternate Method (works with or without a jailbreak):
1. Go to http://www.emu4ios.net/#downloads on the iOS device and select GBA4iOS from the app list and download it. Make sure to follow the instructions on screen to make sure the application installs properly.
2. After that, click the plus sign in the upper right hand corner.
3. Pick a site to download from and download a ROM of your choice.

NDS4iOS Alternate method (works with or without a jailbreak, nintendo DS games):
1. Go to http://nds4ios.angelxwind.net/i/?page/downloads on your iOS device and select the proper download if you have a jailbreak or not. Again, make sure to follow the on-screen instructions for it to be properly installed.
2. Hit the plus sign in the upper right hand corner.
Note: The app will switch to safari, that is perfectly alright.
3. Select a ROM to download.
Note: The ROM download will take a while to show up. Once the download is complete, it will take you to another page with a the file in the center of the screen.
4. Once it is downloaded, click "Open in NDS4iOS".

PART 2 - Using Cheat Codes

Instructions:

1. If you don't have iFile from xSellize, go download it.
2. Open up iFile. Go to var>mobile>Media>ROMs>GBA.
3. Click Edit, then the + sign at the bottom left.
4. Make the Name whatever the ROM name is ended with .cht (For example, if your Pokémon ROM name is "Pokemon Emerald.gba" make the file name "Pokemon Emerald.gba.cht")
5. Make the Type a Regular File.
6. Make Owner root, and Group staff.
7. Create the new file. Hit Done.
8. Scroll down to the empty file you just made, and open it with Text Viewer.
9. Hit Edit, and enter your Gameshark/Action Replay codes you have. (See below for code format)
10. Hit Save, then Done.
11. Go to gpSPhone, and enable the cheats.

Note: Cheat codes will be added to GBA4iOS in version 2.0. To read more about GBA4iOS 2.0 please visit this thread. GBA4iOS 2.0 will support Action Replay, GameShark Advanced, and CodeBreaker codes.

Note 2: NDS4iOS currently does not support Action Replay codes.


Cheat Codes Format:
So whenever you are ready to enter those cheat codes, you must follow a set of rules, or else they will not work. The rules (or guidelines) is as follows:
1. Gameshark codes must start as "Gameshark_v3"
2. Action Replay codes must start as "Par_v3"
3. gpSPhone recognizes a maximum of 8 codes, so don't enter anymore than 8 at once.
4. If you enter more than one code, do not separate it with a space. Don't skip any lines whatsoever.
5. gpSPhone cannot recognize multiple lines of code. Therefore, you must separate a code if it has more than one line. Examples are below.
